ABC Criss-Cross Applesauce and Common Core...

The kiddos are back in school and we are off to another great start for the 2012/13 school year. My kids are A-DOR-ABLE! They always are, in the big scheme of things they are still so little when they come into first grade. They are eager to learn and love their teacher! It truly is the BEST grade level to teach!  I have created this fun little game below to meet the standard L1.1. Have a look:

I know a lot of districts have transferred over to Common Core Standards.We did last year so we feel good about teaching to Common Core this year-if you are a newbie to Common Core then come over and check out my newest unit called Surfin' Back To School-a Common Core Math and ELA Unit.     All of our teacher meetings have been CCSS this week..it is a little overwhelming so winning would make me feel more prepared!
